Your Path Back to Work
We help Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) recipients learn more about Social Security’s Ticket to Work Program (TTW) and how they can assign their Ticket.
Our team of dedicated specialists provides guidance to help you navigate the Ticket to Work Program. This program can support you at every step of your return-to-work journey.
We'll help you determine your eligibility for the TTW Program.
We'll help you understand how your SSDI benefits are protected with TTW when you attempt to return to work.
We'll help you identify the right TTW provider that best meets your individual needs.
We'll talk about what types of work interest you, including your prior work experience and education, and discuss your career goals.
We'll help you understand what services your TTW provider can assist you with at each step of your journey.
We'll assist with the Ticket process by connecting you to a TTW service provider. There is never a cost for assistance or services provided.
Once you have been assigned a ticket, your service provider will explain the TTW benefits and help you get the most from the program. These are just some of the work incentives:
Work incentives that protect your SSDI benefits and Medicare coverage as you try to go back to work.
Opportunity to earn more through employment while keeping necessary supports.
Continued Medicare coverage for at least 93 months after returning to work.
If your disability prevents continued work, you can restart benefits without a new application.
The Ticket to Work Program is a free and voluntary program offered by the Social Security Administration that helps people with disabilities progress toward financial independence through work. It provides access to employment services, vocational rehabilitation, and other support services.
The Ticket to Work Program includes work incentives that allow you to test your ability to work while keeping your benefits. These include a Trial Work Period and an Extended Period of Eligibility. Our specialists can explain how these work for your specific situation.
If you return to work, your Medicare coverage continues for at least 93 months after your Trial Work Period ends, even if your SSDI cash benefits stop due to earnings.
There is no cost as TTW services are funded through the program.
The Ticket to Work Program has several work incentives that protect your benefits if you have to stop working. This includes an Expedited Reinstatement provision. If you find you cannot continue working due to your disability within 5 years of benefits ending, you may request reinstatement of your benefits without filing a new application.
Our team of dedicated specialists is ready to help you find the right service provider.
